The City of Santa Clara is starting the environmental review process for a townhome development at 1957 Pruneridge Avenue in Santa Clara, Santa Clara County. The proposal follows the former St. Mark’s Episcopal Church sale in July last year. SCS Development is the project applicant.
A new residential project has been proposed for development at 600 Ortega Street in Inner Sunset, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the construction of a three-story single-family dwelling. The project calls for the demolition of an existing single-family dwelling on the site. Winder Gibson Architects is responsible for the designs.
New funding from the San Jose City Council has pushed forward the construction of a new foster youth housing complex named The Hub at 1510 Parkmoor Avenue in San Jose, Santa Clara County. The council approved $40 million of state bonds for the 81 units of permanently supportive housing and a community space. Abode Housing Development is the project developer.
New plans have been filed for the vacant parcel at 2600 Wallace Street in Highland Terrace, Oakland. The application would create three units from the narrow plot, with floors conforming to a steep grade.
