New renderings have been revealed for a residential project approved at 2580 West Bayshore Road in Midtown, Palo Alto. The project proposal includes the development of 8 apartment building consisting of 48 residential townhomes. Plans call for the demolition of an existing office building on the site. SDG Architects is managing the design concepts and construction of the residential development. SummerHill Homes applied for a Preliminary Architectural Review of the project.

The document provides local neighbors in Downtown San Jose with an opportunity to provide input about the project. Urban Catalyst is responsible for the proposal.

The project would rise from a small corner lot in San Francisco’s Outer Richmond with nine units, of which three will be affordable. The proposal is seeking HOME-SF authorization to allow construction, along with exceptions for rear yard requirements and approval for the purposes of CEQA.

New building permits have been filed for 10 South Van Ness Avenue, the sixth tallest project in the Bay Area’s pipeline. The 590-foot residential tower would create 966 new homes from a triangular 1.2-acre lot between Market and Mission Street in San Francisco’s Civic Center. Crescent Heights is responsible for the development.

1,075-Unit Freedom Circle Greystar Project Approved by CEQA

The City of Santa Clara has published its approval of the environmental review of the Freedom Circle Greystar Project, a multi-structure residential project at 3905 Freedom Circle, Santa Clara County. The development will create 1,075 new homes, a new public park connecting to the San Tomas Aquino Creek Trail, and ground-level retail. Greystar is responsible for the application.
