New Details Published for SRI International Campus Redevelopment, Menlo Park

New plans have been published for the redevelopment of the SRI International Campus at 333 Ravenswood Avenue in San Mateo County’s Menlo Park. The 63.22-acre project, named Parkline, will redevelopment the campus of SRI International. Founded as an extension of Stanford University, the research institute is most well-known for developing Siri. Lane Partners is the developer.

New Renderings Revealed for 2,387-home Freedom West Proposal, Fillmore District, San Francisco

New renderings have been revealed along with updated planning documents for Freedom West, a multi-billion dollar project to build 2,387 new residential units in San Francisco’s Fillmore District. The development will offer replacement housing for all displaced residents while adding a new hotel, retail, community spaces, and new open space. MacFarlane Development Company is responsible for the application.

The Draft Environmental Impact Report OK’s Cambrian Park Village, San Jose

The environmental review has found the mixed-use Cambrian Park Village would not result in any significant and unavoidable impacts to the environment. Thanks to this, property owner Weingarten Realty Investors is a step closer to construction in Willow Glen, San Jose. The proposal, at 14200 Union Avenue, has also benefited from the City of San Jose Urban Village framework to encourage the production of new transit-oriented urban hubs across the predominantly suburban city.

First New Structure Tops Out, New Renderings for Treasure Island Redevelopment, San Francisco

Construction has topped out on the first new building in the Treasure Island redevelopment plan. The progress comes as San Francisco’s Mayor London Breed embarked on a boat ride from the Ferry Building to Treasure Island’s new passenger boat terminal last week, ahead of the January 2022 start of public ferry rides. Treasure Island’s roughly 8,000 unit redevelopment plan is led by Treasure Island Community Development (TICD), a partnership with Stockbridge Capital Group, Wilson Meany, and Lennar Corporation.
