New Renderings Revealed for Berryessa BART Transit Village in San Jose

New renderings have been revealed for Market Park, part of the expansive Berryessa BART Transit Village Development proposed for 1590 Berryessa Road in San Jose, Santa Clara County. Plans for the Market Park to occupy the Flea Market Southside District would add millions of square feet of office space and over three thousand homes on 60 acres next to mass transit. The Bumb family, the current property owner and founder of the Flea Market, is responsible for the application.

Council Meeting Today May Put Oakland A’s Howard Terminal on November Ballot

The Oakland City Council will be meeting today at noon to decide if Howard Terminal should be on the ballot this November. If the measure passes, voters can decide if public funds should be used to pay for public infrastructure costs related to the project. The meeting comes days after the project passed a critical vote to allow the port land to be used for non-port-related development.

Construction Starts for China Basin Park, Facade Rising on Block B in Mission Rock, San Francisco

Mission Rock Partners has officially launched construction for the China Basin Park with a groundbreaking ceremony on San Francisco’s Mission Bay waterfront. The park is one of Mission Rock’s most highly anticipated public assets, five acres of waterfront open space shaped by community input and designed by SCAPE Landscape Architecture. Mission Rock Partners is a joint venture with the Giants, the Port of San Francisco, and Tishman Speyer.

Google’s Middlefield Park Master Plan Up for Public Review

The draft supplemental environmental impact report has been published for the Middlefield Park master plan, a dense mixed-use development with 1,900 new homes and offices planned in Mountain View, Santa Clara County. The document will be available for public comment from now until early June for review by the Mountain View Community Development Department. Google is responsible for the project as the property owner, with Lendlease as the developer and sponsor.
