Updated Permits Filed for Former Cecchini Ranch Redevelopment, Discovery Bay

New permits have been filed for the massive suburban project on a large swath of land off Highway 4 in Discovery Bay, east Contra Costa County. The former Cecchini Ranch was sold 2018 to the Henghou Group for $11.5 million. The latest permits come after initial plans filed in 2021 to reshape over a thousand acres of agricultural land with over two thousand homes.

Draft EIR Published for 2128 Oxford Street, Downtown Berkeley

The City of Berkeley has published the Draft Environmental Impact Report for the 26-story proposed residential tower at 2128 Oxford Street. The development is one of a few proposals in Berkeley’s pipeline that will reshape the city skyline. Chicago-based Core Spaces is the project developer.

New renderings have been published alongside the formal submittal of the builder’s remedy-assisted proposal for 762 San Antonio Road in Palo Alto, Santa Clara County. The plan aims to bring nearly two hundred homes to the Hengehold Truck depot. Acclaim Companies will be responsible for the development on behalf of the property owner, Matt Hengehold.

SummerHill Homes Touts Success with Early Phases of City Village in Bishop Ranch, San Ramon

Project developer SummerHill Homes has touted the success of the first two phases of City Village in Bishop Ranch, San Ramon. Closings have resulted in over $70 million from 53 single-family and townhouse units, most of which were with first-time homebuyers. Once complete, the master plan will result in 404 homes on a former office plot.
