New plans have been revealed for a five-story residential infill at 4185 Piedmont Avenue in Oakland, Alameda County. The proposal will create 14 new homes along the buzzing commercial Piedmont Avenue neighborhood and ground-level retail. Kava Massih Architects is the project architect.
A new application has been filed for entitlements for the four-story residential infill at 401 1st Avenue in Sacramento’s Upper Land Park neighborhood. The development will create 49 new homes in a modular-design complex by local firm REgroup.
A new residential project has been proposed for development at 3230 Evergreen Avenue in West Sacramento. The project proposal includes the development of a new apartment building on a vacant site.
New renderings have been published alongside the preliminary project assessment for 1151 Washington Street, the sloped Amsterdam-inspired townhome infill proposed for a narrow Nob Hill property. If built, the project will add ten affordable-by-design homes to the affluent neighborhood. The application was filed by the San Francisco-based Macy Architecture.
A huge vacant parking lot which once housed the Rockridge Shopping Center is no longer being considered as the prime spot to construct a new Home Depot store at 5100 Broadway in North Oakland. The old shopping center was demolished more than five years ago. Broadway Rockridge LLC is the property owner.
