New plans have been filed to transform a mostly-vacant lot at 2720 San Pablo Avenue into an eight-story mixed-use development in Southwest Berkeley, Alameda County. Trachtenberg Architects have filed the pre-application for Senate Bill 330, making use of the State Density Bonus Program to increase the residential capacity above previous iterations for the parcel.
New plans have been filed for a six-story residential infill at 1506 Vallejo Street in San Francisco’s retail-dense Polk Gulch neighborhood. The project will include the demolition of the existing commercial structure, home to the currently-closed Royal Oak bar. Bar owner Katherine Papageorge is listed as responsible for the application.

New renderings have been revealed for the eight-story mixed-use complex at 533 Kirkham Street in West Oakland. The application is part of a cluster of proposals by separate developers set to reshape the area around the West Oakland BART Station. Solomon Cordwell Buenz is responsible for the design.
