Housing For Teachers And Staff Members Planned At 231 Grant Avenue In Palo Alto, Santa Clara County

A new housing project has been approved for construction at 231 Grant Avenue in Mayfield District, Palo Alto. The project proposal includes building 110 apartments for teachers and staff members at Santa Clara and San Mateo County schools. The project is sponsored by the County of Santa Clara, Facebook, the City of Palo Alto, and participating school districts in Santa Clara County. Mercy Housing California and Abode Communities are managing the development. Van Meter Williams Pollack LLC is responsible for the designs.

Groundbreaking for Community and Recreation Center for Sunnydale HOPE SF

The official groundbreaking ceremony was held yesterday morning for the Sunnydale Community Center in Visitacion Valley, San Francisco. The project, dubbed the Sunnydale Hub, will create a Wu Yee child care center, the Herz recreation center, and a new clubhouse for the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco. The project is part of the Sunnydale HOPE SF master plan by Mercy Housing and Related Companies.

New Building Permits Filed for 1652 Sunnydale Avenue from HOPE SF Masterplan

New plans have been published for 1652 Sunnydale Avenue, a four-story residential component in the expansive Sunnydale HOPE SF redevelopment masterplan. Sunnydale Block 9 contributed 95 units to the nearly 1,800-apartment redevelopment of the aged housing authority complex. Related California is the project developer.

New renderings have been published for the two affordable housing projects at 200 Folsom Street in the East Cut, San Francisco. Amended plans for Transbay Block 2 are scheduled for a public review by the city’s Planning Commission for next week on December 1st. As well, new building permits have now been filed for the 17-story Transbay Block 2 East, being developed by Mercy Housing. Transbay Block 2 West is being developed by the Chinatown Community Development Center.

New building permits have been filed for the 15-story affordable senior housing at 1939 Market Street in San Francisco. The filing by Paulett Taggart Architects estimates construction to cost around $157 million. While the plans remain preliminary, the application shows progress within the planning department.

Construction Starts for Star View Court on Treasure Island, San Francisco

Star View Court will create 138 new homes at parcel C3.1, close to the nearly-complete Maceo May Apartments, offering replacement housing for existing Treasure Island residents. The project is a collaborative effort by Mercy Housing and Catholic Charities.
