Renderings for Station East by Union City BART Station Approved by Planning Commission

The Union City Planning Commission has given unanimous approval for Station East, a significant residential master plan by Danville-based Integral Communities. The proposal would replace vacant industrial structures and surface parking by Decoto Road and 7th Street with new apartments, affordable housing, and thousands of square feet of ground-level commercial floor space near the Union City BART Station. The vote gives a strong recommendation ahead of the June 8th meeting, during which the City Council will consider giving the final approval to allow construction.

Design Review Occurring Today For 1225 65th Street, Emeryville

Emeryville Planning Commission will be conducting a third study session to review a proposal for a new four-story building at 1225 65th Street, Emeryville. The project proposal consists of a residential complex with twenty-four units with on-site parking. The project requires a major design review, a conditional use permit for 100 bonus points, a variance to eliminate the required three-foot setback on the west side of the property, and a tree removal permit for a tree on 65th Street to provide sidewalk improvements.

AERO Apartments at 2000 Ardent Way Launching in Alameda Point Waterfront District, Alameda

Cypress Equity and Equity Residential have announced the residential launch of the AERO Apartments, located at 2000 Ardent Way in the Alameda Point Waterfront District. The development is part of a master plan which expects to draw $1 billion of development at the 68-acre former Naval Air Station in Alameda. Move-ins are expected by the second quarter of this year.
