Extensive Renderings Published For 447 Almaden Boulevard, Downtown San Jose Ahead of Meeting

The proposal for a 282-foot tall mixed-use development at 447 Almaden Boulevard in Downtown San Jose is expected to be reviewed in tonight’s Planning Commission hearing. The project would total over two million square feet, including offices, retail, and amenities. Along with the review of the South Almaden Offices, the fifth resubmission for the project is paired with a treasure-trove of renderings that give an all-encompassing impression of the future block. Boston Properties is responsible for the development as the project owner.

Preliminary Review Requested for 155 South 11th Street, East Campus, San Jose

A preliminary application has been filed revealing plans for a seven-story residential building at 155 South 11th Street in East Campus, San Jose. The proposal would create 91 affordable units on top of a parcel spanning less than half an acre. Lighthouse at Grace LLC is responsible for filing, and the property had been owned by a Fraternity, Sigma Nu’s Zeta Iota Chapter.

Meeting Today To Review DEIR and Potential Skybridge for Orchard Workspace, Downtown San Jose

The San Jose planning department is scheduled to review the draft supplemental environmental impact report for Orchard Workspace in Downtown San Jose at 6 PM today. Orchard Workspace consists of two proposed office towers as high as 301 feet above street level with new retail at 300 South 1st Street and 345 South 2nd Street. The major revelation ahead of the meeting is that a new sky bridge is considered to connect the two office buildings on levels ten and eleven. The project is one of several prospective San Jose projects with Gary Dillabough and Westbank as the joint developers.
