Project permits have been filed to convert the Bank of Italy office tower into housing at 12 South 1st Street in Downtown San Jose, Santa Clara County. The plans would bring new life to the historic tower as the region deals with high office vacancy rates. RMW Architecture is the project applicant.
Several new building permits have been filed for the Glen at Heather Farm development at 850 Seven Hills Ranch Road in Walnut Creek, Contra Costa County. The plans will replace undeveloped land with hundreds of homes in a senior living complex. Spieker Senior Development Partners is responsible for the application.
Permits have been filed for a new four-story apartment infill at 345-349 3rd Avenue in San Francisco’s Inner Richmond. The plans will demolish an existing 1898-built three-story home. Schaub Li Architects is sponsoring the project on behalf of the property owner, Diana Y. Chou.
Construction is coming together for the next phase of the Township 9 master plan near Downtown Sacramento. Ten multi-unit structures have topped out, bringing 372 garden-style units across four blocks. 29th Street Capital is the project sponsor, working with Bridge Investment Group and RevOZ Capital.
The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors has reversed the County Planning Commission’s rejection of Windhover Terrace Apartments, a residential infill in unincorporated Martinez. The project has a second chance to bring 24 homes and parking to a vacant plot. West Coast Land and Development is the developer.
