The project proposed to add four buildings, three of which contain 637 apartments, of which 230 will be affordable. KTGY Architects have filed preliminary planning permits for a new seven-story residential building at 905 North Capitol Avenue in Alum Rock, San Jose. The project will provide a significant residential addition to an area with existing mid-density projects, public transit, and large retail shops nearby.
Seagate Properties is working to build a 395-foot mixed-use tower at 88 Grand Avenue in the heart of Downtown Oakland. The development permits had been filed in 2018 and approved in 2020. The full structure will provide retail and residential housing on the Central Business District’s northern side, half a block from Broadway. With planning approved, the next step to anticipate will be groundbreaking.
Development permits have been submitted to make constructional alterations to the already approved roof deck on 975 Bryant Street in SoMa, San Francisco. The alteration proposed is for a five-story apartment building that houses 185 residential units, a parking structure with a capacity of 135 cars, an indoor basketball court, and a retail space spanning over 5,000 square feet. Construction is already well underway for the site, and completion is expected soon.
New planning permits have been filed for the construction of multiple buildings at the NUVO Artisan Square development, located at 5301 East Commerce Way in North Natomas, Sacramento.
