Plans Revealed for New Townhomes at 102 East Fremont Avenue, Sunnyvale

New plans have been filed to replace the western portion of the Fremont Corner shopping center with townhomes and a new shop at 102 East Fremont Avenue in Sunnyvale, Santa Clara County. The True Life Companies is the project applicant, and Fremont Corners Inc is the property owner. The project will complement the same team’s plans for new townhomes at 166 East Fremont Street, representing a realignment of priorities for residential construction.

Plans to build on 10.4 acres of vacant land have cleared the California Environmental Quality Act review process, bringing the construction of 126 new homes closer to reality in Antioch, Contra Costa County. The project will create 25 detached structures, landscaping, and a surplus of parking. SDG Architects is the project architect.

SummerHill Homes is planning to break ground next week on City Village, an expansive residential development in San Ramon, Contra Costa County. This follows the recent announcement that Sunset Development Company has officially sold the 31-acre parcel at 2400 Camino Ramon to SummerHill Homes, as Sunset is working on its own mixed-use redevelopment of the successful Bishop Ranch office park.

Orinda’s Wilder Subdivision Nearly Complete, Contra Costa County

New aerial photographs show plots almost entirely filled up after years of construction on the Wilder Subdivision, a new suburb in Orinda, Contra Costa County. It has been half a decade since the first residents moved into Wilder, a suburban project cut out of the former McCosker Ranch. At full build-out, there will be 245 single-family residences with access to communal and public amenities. Brooks Street is the master developer, via Orinda Gateway LLC, responsible for signing and planning with the city.

New renderings have been published for a proposed 50-unit townhouse development at 166 East Fremont Avenue in Sunnyvale, Santa Clara County. The project will demolish one low-rise commercial building and renovate another on the easterly portion of the existing Fremont Corners shopping center. The San Ramon-based True Life Companies is responsible for the development.

San Ramon’s Architectural Review Board is scheduled to hear plans for a multi-family proposal to develop 500 Deerwood Road in the Contra Costa County city. The proposal would create 57 units, of which nine would be priced at below-market rates. The True Life Companies is managing the development through TTLC San Ramon Deerwood LLC.
