The San Jose City Council unanimously approved plans for massive office development at 280 Woz Way on the outskirts of the Downtown high-rise core. The proposal will see two new complementary office towers along the street named after Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak. Cupertino-based KT Urban is the project developer.
Updated site development permits have been filed for a residential tower at 565 Lorraine Avenue in Downtown San Jose. The project proposal includes the construction of a residential building and the demolition of a vacant single-story structure. Roygbiv Real Estate Development is responsible for the proposal. Anderson Architects Inc is managing the design concepts and construction.
New information is coming out about the 3.8 million square foot office development planned for 550 East Brokaw in North San Jose. The Bay Area News Group has reported the estimated timeline for development, with plans for construction to last four phases into the next decade. Bay West Development is responsible for the proposal, with architectural design by Gensler.
The public review draft has been published by the City of San Jose for 1747 Almaden Road in South San Jose. Rising six stories, the proposed building would add 62 residential units to the Silicon Valley housing market, of which nine will be priced as affordable for moderate-income residents. Mayberry Workshop is managing the design.
Local developer Roygbiv Real Estate has released detailed renderings for 1298 Tripp Avenue. The illustrations focus on the first in three phases of construction that will produce approximately 1,200 new apartments, including affordable housing, in Five Wounds, San Jose. Named Residencias Arrianna, the development aims to create new apartments and public amenities by the future location of the 28th Street Little Portugal BART Station.
