The initial environmental study has been published for the laboratory proposal of 642 Quarry Road in San Carlos, San Mateo County. The proposal will create two new office buildings and a ten-level garage. Presidio Bay Ventures is responsible for the application.
The South San Francisco planning commission is scheduled to review plans for a 12-story waterfront hotel at 367 Marina Boulevard in the San Mateo County city’s Oyster Point neighborhood. The project will buttress the city’s growing Life Sciences development across the East Side neighborhood. Ensemble Real Estate Investments is the project applicant.
The preliminary project application will be reviewed today with the San Bruno City Council. The 44-acre masterplan led by Alexandria Real Estate Equities will reshape the existing BART-connected mall with new retail, homes, and a life science campus. The plans have been able to move ahead since Alexandria purchased the final necessary parcel of land in February of this year. The total cost for the 44-acre San Mateo County campus was just under $330 million.
Construction work has started for the eight-story life sciences project at 580 Dubuque Avenue in South San Francisco, San Mateo County. The project has replaced a long-time vacant lot. IQHQ, a Real Estate Investment Trust, is sponsoring the project via South City Ventures, LLC.
The Final Environmental Impact Report has been published for Willow Village, the 59-acre mixed-use development proposed for Menlo Park in San Mateo County. The masterplan imagines a dense campus with offices, housing, a hotel, and public open space functioning as a new neighborhood and a working destination for the Facebook parent company, Meta. Signature Development Group and Peninsula Innovation Partners are the project developer.
