Renderings Revealed for 1885 South Norfolk Street, San Mateo, San Mateo County

A prominent San Mateo location by the intersection of Highway 92 and US 101 could see the construction of a five-story residential complex. The project at 1885 South Norfolk Street would create 321 new rental homes with a two-story arch connecting the public to a new landscaped waterfront park on Seal Slough, across from San Mateo County’s Foster City. The project is scheduled to be reviewed by the City of San Mateo Planning Commission during a special public meeting tonight at 5:30 PM.

A Special Planning Commission Meeting has been scheduled for tonight to review plans for a six-story residential infill at 959 El Camino Real in Millbrae, San Mateo County. The project will replace a single-story commercial structure and surface parking with 278 homes and 349 parking spaces, with some affordable housing. High Street Residential is the project applicant and owner.

Development permits have been filed seeking the construction of a new mixed-use project at 99 Southgate Avenue in Daly City. The project proposal includes the construction of a seven-story mixed-use building offering residential and commercial spaces. The project proposes the demolition of an existing vacant Burlington Coat Factory retail building on the site. Kimco Westlake LP is the project applicant. SGPA Architecture and Planning is responsible for the design concepts.
