The eight-story building will rise beside the 1910-built former home to Oakland’s YMCA. Mercy Housing is responsible for the development.

The proposed project would demolish the existing surface parking lot and vacant structures to construct a 160 feet high complex spanning over approximately 415,792 square feet.
