Demolition work is currently underway ahead of plans for an eight-story parking garage with retail at 185 Park Avenue in Downtown San Jose, Santa Clara County. The project is the first phase underway for the recently reimagined CityView Plaza masterplan, with the amended plans to be heard by the city’s Planning Director later this week. The prominent local developer, Jay Paul Company, is responsible for the venture.
The Draft Environmental Impact Report has been published for a townhouse development at 5670 Camden Avenue in the Cambrian neighborhood of San Jose. The project is looking to replace a few baseball fields and green space behind Beacon School with over a hundred units, in part with the Builder’s Remedy. Mana Camden Fund LLC is responsible for the application.
Construction is progressing forward for the El Paseo de Saratoga urban village project in San Jose. Demolition crews have cleared much of the former commercial stores that will soon be replaced by over seven hundred homes and a residential care facility. Sand Hill Property Company is leading the project, working in partnership with Holland Partners and Sunrise Senior Living.
The affordable multifamily project known as Martha Gardens has broken ground at its location of 802 South 1st Street in San Jose. The project, which has been in the planning and preparation phase for more than four years, has made a major step towards eventual completion. The San Jose City Council is scheduled to review plans today for a district of the multi-project Berryessa BART Station redevelopment in San Jose, Santa Clara County. The project aims to replace the transit-adjacent lot at 1655 Berryessa Road with over eight hundred apartments, alongside some retail and open space.
