The development includes three main buildings surrounded by 48 new single-family houses and 25 three-story townhouses. Weingarten Realty Investors is responsible for the project as the property owner.

The new proposal will be a sizable addition, providing office space and a health club to Stevens Creek and Saratoga Avenue’s retail-rich intersection. Cypress Equities is the developer for the project.

Renderings Released for Westbank’s Park Habitat at 180 Park Avenue, Downtown San Jose

New renderings have been released for Westbank’s mixed-use building, Park Habitat at 180 Park Avenue, Downtown San Jose. The illustrations came with the Westbank Campus Website launch, which provides a manifesto to connect the Canadian firm’s five Silicon Valley proposals with their innovative approaches that address climate change and encourage community through urban design. Each of the five projects has a unique goal. With Park Habitat, Westbank worked with Kengo Kuma & Associates to design a building that brings together offices and natural spaces in the city center.

Preliminary review and development permits have been filed for a new 5-story market-rate development at 1050 Saint Elizabeth Drive on Willow Glen, an expansive neighborhood south of downtown San Jose. The project would bring new residential offerings to the Somerset Senior Living facility. Evershine XVII LP is responsible for the development of the property owner, with KCR Development responsible for funding.
