Upcoming Director’s Hearing for SoFA by Nabr in Downtown San Jose

The plan for a three-tower development in Downtown San Jose is up for public review at a Planning Director’s Hearing tomorrow, December 14th. The meeting comes after the publication of the initial study for the residential infill. The 474-unit project is a joint development with Nabr, a new direct-to-consumer housing startup, and the established local developers at Urban Community.

Project Approved At 147 East Santa Clara Street In Downtown San Jose

A new mixed-use project has received approval for development at 147 East Santa Clara Street in downtown San Jose. The project proposal includes the construction of two buildings offering office and residential spaces. Urban Catalyst, a premier Silicon Valley real estate equity fund, is the project developer. WRNS Studios is the project architect, and GLS Architecture + Landscape is the landscape architect.

Energy Hub Tower Proposal for Downtown San Jose Pushes Forward, Council Vote Expected Next Month

The amended Draft Environmental Impact Report has been published for the 21-story mixed-use proposal at 35 South Second Street in Downtown San Jose. The project, dubbed the Energy Hub Tower, is scheduled for review by the Planning Commission next week, and the city council is expected to consider final approval for the plans in mid-December. If approved, it will bring the development team, Westbank and Urban Community, closer to adding the Bjarke Ingels Group-designed tower to fruition.
