New Rendering with Third Tower for Brooklyn Basin, Oakland

A new rendering has been published ahead of tomorrow’s meeting with Oakland’s Design Review Committee for Brooklyn Basin, a waterfront master-planned development. The request would expand the development’s residential capacity to hold 3,700 apartments, with over a hundred more boat slips. Oakland-based Signature Development Group is developing the project, with joint financing from Signature, Zarsion Holdings Group, and Reynolds & Brown.

Construction Expected This Summer for 2000 University Avenue in Downtown Berkeley

New renderings have been revealed for the eight-story mixed-use development at 2000 University Avenue in Downtown Berkeley. The project, named Studio 2000, will replace a single-story commercial structure covering 0.14 acres with 82 studio apartments above retail. Trachtenberg Architects, responsible for the design, have shared with YIMBY that construction is expected to start this summer.
