The unique mixed-use project aims to create a new community anchor for the neighborhood with affordable housing, retail, offices, and a performance center. Parcel Projects and McCormack Baron Salazar are jointly responsible for the development.
Construction work has started for the eight-story life sciences project at 580 Dubuque Avenue in South San Francisco, San Mateo County. The project has replaced a long-time vacant lot. IQHQ, a Real Estate Investment Trust, is sponsoring the project via South City Ventures, LLC.
Construction has started for the Lair, an eight-story mixed-use project at 2440 Shattuck Avenue in Downtown Berkeley, Alameda County. Demolition has already cleared the former single-story structure, with crews working to create the forty new homes and retail adjacent to several new and proposed projects. The Austin Group is the project developer.
Building permits have been issued for a residential project at 335 3rd Street in Jack London District, Oakland. The project proposal includes the construction of new condominiums for a proposed eight-story multi-family development on the site. The project is slated to replace a surface parking lot on the site. RAD Urban is responsible for the development.
Development permits have been filed for a new three-story office building at 747 52nd Street in Temescal, Oakland. The plans include relocating two existing office structures and building the Administrative Supportive Building within the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital campus. SmithGroup is responsible for the design.
