New permits have been filed seeking entitlement for a sixteen-townhouse project at 4200 Acacia Avenue in Palo Alto, Santa Clara County. The plans split the housing between four structures, with drives covering a sizable portion of the 0.8-acre lot. Two units will be designated as affordable housing. Dividend Homes, a Morgan Hill-based homebuilder, is the project applicant.
The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office has acquired the recently-completed seven-story building at 345 4th Street in SoMa, San Francisco. The nearly $53 million sale will facilitate TECO-SF’s move out of their current Downtown location by the Transamerica Pyramid and Chinatown at 555 Montgomery Street. 4th & Harrison SF, LLC, linked with the Newport Beach-based Tarsadia Investments, is listed as the project sponsor.
New renderings have been published for a small residential infill at 3721 Mount Diablo Boulevard in Lafayette, Contra Costa County. The project would create 13 new homes on a 0.3–acre property within the city’s ambitiously named West End district. Steve Stone is responsible for the application via 3721 Land Co.
A new hotel project has been proposed for development at 1701 K Street in Midtown, Sacramento. The project proposal includes the construction of a six-story hotel. The project will replace a CVS pharmacy on the site. A fee request estimate was submitted to City Planning Commission. CVS Health Corp owns the property.
Crews have topped out on the seven-story life sciences development at 1450 Owens Street in San Francisco’s Mission Bay. The steel frame stands 109 feet above street level, rising over I-280, while the site’s ground floor is visible to passing Caltrain riders. Truebeck is the general contractor, and Alexandria Real Estate Equities is the project developer.
