Permits have been filed for a two-story commercial office building at 1840 Oakdale Avenue in Bayview, San Francisco. The project will rise on a vacant parcel overlooking the Caltrain train tracks and the city’s recently modernized Southeast Water Treatment Plant. RKD Consulting is responsible for the application and design.
Plans have been approved for La Maravilla, a nine-story permanent supportive housing complex at 1979 Mission Street in San Francisco’s Mission District. Construction is now set to start early next year on the first of three phases on the large parcel overlooking the 16th Street BART Station. Mission Economic Development Agency and Mission Housing Development Corporation are jointly responsible for the project.
The Berkeley Zoning Adjustments Committee will meet today to discuss the zoning modifications proposed for 2298 Durant Avenue and 2360 Ellsworth Street in Berkeley. If approved by the committee, the application would allow for the demolition and merger of both lots, making space for the construction of a new eight-story apartment complex developed by Valiance Capital LLC.
Preliminary permits have been filed for a backyard duplex at 1535 Milvia Street in North Berkeley, Alameda County. The proposal looks to replace a storage shed with two new homes two blocks away from Shattuck Avenue. John Newton Design & Development is listed as the project applicant.
