The City of Santa Clara has approved plans for a new flat-iron apartment complex to rise at 2655 The Alameda. The low-rise project will rise over the southern edge of the Santa Clara University campus. Kapital Partners is the project applicant.
New permits have been filed for a three-story apartment complex at 1010 91st Avenue in East Oakland, Alameda County. The proposal will replace some existing surface parking next to a church with eight homes. Lily of the Valley Christian Center is listed as the property owner.
Demolition work has cleared away the single-story commercial store at 2100 Mission Street in San Francisco’s Mission District. The site, at the corner of 17th Street, will soon be replaced with a six-story apartment complex above retail. The Toboni Group is the project applicant.
Construction has topped out for the nine-story residential infill at 180 Jones Street in San Francisco’s Tenderloin. The development replaced a surface parking lot with 70 units of affordable housing. The Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation is the project sponsor.
New plans have been filed with a minor residential capacity increase for 419 4th Street in Oakland, Alameda County. The revisions will not increase the size or design of the eight-story building, rising in the city’s waterfront Jack London Square neighborhood. Smart Growth is the project owner.
