New renderings have been published for three new buildings with 896 units in the urban redevelopment of Parkmerced in San Francisco. The structures constitute Phases 1C and 1D, the last two subphases of the first leg of construction. Maximus Real Estate Partners is developing the 152-acre master plan.

The project proposal includes the development of a five-story building offering residential units and onsite parking. Plans call for the demolition of an existing commercial building and surface parking lot. The Martin Group of Companies is the project applicant. West Oakland Development Group is the property owner. BDE Architecture is designing the project.
A prominent San Mateo location by the intersection of Highway 92 and US 101 could see the construction of a five-story residential complex. The project at 1885 South Norfolk Street would create 321 new rental homes with a two-story arch connecting the public to a new landscaped waterfront park on Seal Slough, across from San Mateo County’s Foster City. The project is scheduled to be reviewed by the City of San Mateo Planning Commission during a special public meeting tonight at 5:30 PM.
Oakland Planning Commission finally approved a housing project for development at 1396 Fifth Street in West Oakland. The project proposal includes the development of an eight-story building offering 222 dwelling units in a transit-oriented project site. The Michaels Organization is the project developer.
Oakland has approved the development permit for a seven-story residential project at 2901 Broadway in Oakland’s Pill Hill neighborhood. The proposal would bring 220 new homes on top of ground-floor retail to the area. Martin Group is the developer.
