Permits Filed for Oakland Roots and Soul Soccer Stadium

Development permits have been filed for a new stadium for two soccer clubs at 8000 South Coliseum Way in Coliseum, East Oakland. The project would replace a surplus parking lot within the Coliseum campus and allow the two teams to start playing in the 2025 season. The permits were filed the same day the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum board unanimously approved plans for the Oakland Athletics to negotiate a lease agreement for 2025-2026 with the teams’ owner.

Construction Underway for Music Venue in Midtown Sacramento

Construction is moving ahead for a new music venue named Channel 24 at 1800 24th Street in Midtown Sacramento’s Poverty Ridge neighborhood. The future venue operator, Another Planet Entertainment, recently highlighted the progress of the 2,150-person venue that bridges the gap between smaller venues and stadiums. SKK Development is responsible for the project.

The Burlingame Planning Commission is scheduled to review plans today for a multi-structure life sciences/office campus at 1200-1340 Old Bayshore Highway in Burlingame, San Mateo County. The Peninsula Crossing proposal will create over 1.4 million square feet of commercial space and two ten-story garages. DivcoWest and Woodstock Development are jointly responsible for the project developer.

Permits have been filed for the residential development at 2660 and 2680 Bancroft Way in Southside, Berkeley. The updated plans will construct an eight-story apartment infill at 2660 Bancroft Way but have forgone additional housing to pursue an office conversion of the former Bancroft Hotel. Daryl Ross is the property owner, filing through AMI LLC.

21-Story Residential Tower Approved in Tasman East, Santa Clara

The City of Santa Clara has approved the 21-story residential development at 5185 Lafayette Street in Tasman East, Santa Clara. The proposal will bring nearly two hundred condominiums in the burgeoning high-rise neighborhood close to Levi’s Stadium. San Francisco-based Ensemble Investments is the project developer.
