Three-Story Proposal for 433 Main Street in Half Moon Bay, San Mateo County

New plans have been filed to replace a long-time vacant parcel with a three-story mixed-use project at 433 Main Street in Half Moon Bay, San Mateo County. Story poles have been added to the site, outlining the structure that may create six new apartments and ground-floor retail along the busy commercial street. Edward C. Love Architects, a local firm, is responsible for the design.

Construction has topped out for Buildings B and G in Mission Rock, with Building A near the same milestone, and groundbreaking imminent for Building F. As phase one of the project speeds towards completion, more is expected from one of the most prominent projects to complete San Francisco’s decades-long plan to replace surface parking in Mission Bay with a vibrant transit-oriented neighborhood. Mission Rock is being led by Mission Rock Partner, a joint venture with Tishman Speyer and the San Francisco Giants.

Meeting Tomorrow for Redesigned 1900 Diamond Street, San Francisco

The San Francisco Planning Commission is scheduled to vote tomorrow on redesigned plans for 24 units at 1900 Diamond Street in San Francisco. The new iteration breaks away from the former linear block to preserve ten trees, create a public viewing platform, and obscure the project with setbacks away from the sidewalk along Diamond Street. Solomon Cordwell Buenz, an international firm with offices in San Francisco, is the project architect.
