Construction has topped out for 99 Ocean Avenue, a six-story residential infill in Balboa Park, San Francisco. The project, dubbed Ventana Residences, will soon open with 193 new homes as the largest project built using the HOME-SF affordable housing development program. Presidio Bay Ventures is the project developer.
New plans have been filed for an affordable housing project at 2301 Telegraph Avenue in Northgate-Waverly, Oakland. The seven-story proposal will replace a single-story commercial building with 58 homes. Mithun is listed as the project architect.
Remodeling plans have been proposed for a single-family residence at 816 Silliman Street in Portola, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the alteration and enlargement of the existing single-family home. Schaub Li Architects Inc is responsible for the design concepts.
Construction work is on the third floor for 4840 Mission Street, a fully affordable residential infill along the border of Balboa Park and Excelsior, San Francisco. Construction work started in October 2020, with crews on track to open the building by the Summer of next year. Bridge Housing is responsible for the development.
Construction work has started for the six-story corner lot at 999 Third Street in San Rafael, Marin County. The project will provide 67 affordable homes for senior residents as part of Vivalon’s Healthy Aging Campus. The development is a joint venture with Vivalon and EDEN Housing.
