LMN Architects and TEF Design have been selected to design the new Diego Rivera theater on the City College of San Francisco campus. The project will become a community cultural center and the home of its namesake’s iconic Pan-American Unity mural. Today, the mural is on display for the public in the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
Construction is underway for Pear Village, a mixed-use project with offices and housing at 1255 Pear Avenue in Mountain View, Santa Clara County. The project is set to create 635 homes beside the new six-story office building. The Sobrato Organization is the developer.
A new residential project has been planned for development at 50Beaumont Avenue in Inner Richmond, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the construction of a four-story residential building, replacing a utility cottage on the rear side and a single-family residence on the front side of the site. James Dixon Architects is responsible for the designs.
New details will be reviewed tomorrow for the $1.3 billion development at 800 Dubuque Avenue in South San Francisco, San Mateo County. The South City Planning Commission will review the updated design for the Office and R&D project bound between Caltrain tracks and U.S. 101. IQHQ, the same trust behind the nearby 580 Dubuque Avenue, is the project developer.
Construction financing has been secured for the six-story affordable housing development at 551 Keyes Street in San Jose, Santa Clara County. The $87 million project will replace the vacant parcel with 99 homes. Charities Housing is the project sponsor.
