Building permits have been filed seeking the approval of a hotel at 629 Richard Boulevard in Sacramento. The project proposal includes the construction of a five-story hotel with onsite amenities and parking. Lowney Architecture is responsible for the designs.
A recent site visit to Treasure Island by YIMBY reveals significant progress has been made for the region’s most active construction project. Cranes and rising concrete have only started to divulge the scale of the 405-acre vision, nearly three decades in the making, that will redevelop San Francisco’s storied artificial island with a mixed-use urban neighborhood populated by around eight thousand homes. The Treasure Island Community Development joint venture sponsors the project.
New illustrations have been revealed and permits filed for the redesigned porte-cochère entrance for the Hilton hotel at 750 Kearny Street, located on the border of Chinatown and the Financial District in San Francisco. The exterior will be renovated once crews remove the Kearny Street pedestrian bridge. Demolition is expected to start later this year with the start of the $66 million Portsmouth Square improvement project.
Plans have been filed for an expansion of a four-story hotel at 2601 Mason Street, located in Fisherman’s Wharf, the bustling tourist destination along San Francisco’s northeast waterfront. Plans include creating an expanded fourth floor, rooftop dining room, and removing five parking spaces. Stanton Architecture is responsible for the design.
