FullStack Modular has announced that they have been tapped to construct the Treehouse Hotel in Sunnyvale, Santa Clara County. Plans are expected to start soon, with the production of modules starting in February of next year. Permits have been filed for the proposed three-story Best Western hotel at 3980 Lake Road in West Sacramento, Yolo County. The project will replace a vacant plot of land overlooking I-80 with a 61-key hotel and associated surface parking.
A new hotel has been proposed fro construction at 39888 Balentine Drive in Newark. The project proposal includes the development of a new five-story hotel offering guest rooms, onsite amenities and parking. The project requires the demolition of the existing building on the site that is being used as a restaurant (9,953 square feet). SKL Associates Inc is responsible for the designs.
The City of Pittsburg is collecting public comments about Bay Walk, a mixed-use plan to build nearly two thousand single-family homes, a hotel, and a commercial center building next to the city’s wetlands on the northern edge of Contra Costa County. Demolition will also be required for the now-vacant Pittsburg Power Plant, once the largest power plant in the Bay Area. The Danville offices of Integral Communities is the project applicant.
