The San Francisco Planning Commission is scheduled to vote tomorrow on an extension request for the approval of 530 Sansome Street, a potential mixed-use tower in San Francisco’s Financial District. The plan could add either a 200-key hotel or 256 apartments into the heart of the city if built. Related Companies is the project developer.
The Cupertino Planning Commission is expected to review plans tonight for the De Anza Hotel at 10931 North De Anza Boulevard, Santa Clara County. The seven-story project will create a 155-key hotel near the city’s border with Sunnyvale. De Anza Properties is the property owner and applicant.
New planning permits have been filed for the Creekside Hotel and Residences complex at 3400 El Camino Real in Palo Alto, Santa Clara County. The updated plans have increased in height and capacity since the 2023 filing to fit state law. Oxford Capital Group is the property owner.
While San Francisco’s hotel occupancy rates recover, one developer has filed plans to extend the approval period of the 35-story hotel right across from the Transbay Transit Center. The 2015-filed project would replace three low-slung commercial buildings at 555 Howard Street in SoMa with four hundred hotel rooms and a rooftop POPOS. The application is a joint venture between Pacific Eagle and SKS Partners.
New renderings have been revealed for a hotel proposed at 3723 Haven Avenue in Menlo Park. The project proposal includes the development of a seven-story hotel with parking. The hotel will replace a non-medical office budding on the site. FPG Development Group is the project developer. Menlo Park Hotel Group LLC is the owner. Elevate Architecture Studio is responsible for the designs. Gates + Associates is the landscape architect.
