Palo Alto Homekey Proposed for 1237 San Antonio Road, Palo Alto

Plans for the Palo Alto Homekey have reached the planning department, with an application for entitlement recently submitted and under review. The project is being developed by the City of Palo Alto in collaboration with Menlo Park-based LifeMoves. Once complete, the project would create a support services facility and 76 units of temporary housing for formerly homeless individuals.

Meeting Scheduled To Review a Project At 226-254 McEvoy Street In San Jose

Development permits have been filed seeking the approval of a project proposed at 226-254 McEvoy Street in San Jose. The project proposal includes the development of a new mixed-use project featuring residential and retail spaces. Plans for the demolition of nine existing industrial building, spanning an area of approximately 64,800 square feet, a paved parking, outside storage areas, and 57 trees.

Google’s East Charleston Offices Nearly Complete

Construction work is finishing up on Google’s Charleston East, a canopy-covered bespoke office building designed by two international architecture firms, Bjarke Ingels Group and Heatherwick Studios. The 111-foot tall project is located at 2000 North Shoreline Boulevard, by the Mountain View waterfront and across from the Shoreline Amphitheatre and the Googleplex. Google’s parent company, Alphabet, is the project owner.
