The project proposal includes building 110 apartments for teachers and staff members at Santa Clara and San Mateo County schools. The project is sponsored by the County of Santa Clara, Facebook, the City of Palo Alto, and participating school districts in Santa Clara County. Mercy Housing California and Abode Communities are managing the development. Van Meter Williams Pollack LLC is responsible for the designs.

Construction is expected to start this April for the seven-story affordable senior housing proposal at 4200 Geary Boulevard in the Richmond District of San Francisco. The update has been announced by the project developer, the Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation. Once complete, the project will offer 98 new homes for residents earning between 15-50% of the Area Median Income.

Along with the bond, SMU is investing $120 million. The over quarter billion dollar investment keeps SMU on schedule for groundbreaking later this year, having received approval in November. Strada is the project developer.
