Construction is wrapping up for the latest life science development at 1091 Industrial Road in San Carlos, San Mateo County. The project is part of a new hub for the biotech and medical research market on the Peninsula. Premia Capital and Prince Street Partners were jointly responsible for the development before selling it to the Florida State Board of Administration in 2021 for $177 million.
Construction has reached the third floor at 1030 Brittan Avenue in San Carlos, San Mateo County. The development is the third location in the city by MBC BioLabs and Dewey Land, close to their second location at 930 Brittan Avenue. Dewey Land purchased the site in early 2022 for $20 million.
Preliminary plans have been shared for a six-story residential infill at 4225 Broadway in Oakland’s Temescal neighborhood. The new proposal is an increase in height and housing from previous plans for a five-story apartment complex by the same developer. CGI+ is listed as the property owner.
New plans have been filed to convert the Santa Teresa Main Street shopping center with townhomes at 865 Blossom Hill Road in San Jose, Santa Clara County. The plan will create 172 residences, most of which will be townhomes. Terracommercial Real Estate Corp is listed as the project developer.
A new mixed-use project has been proposed for development at 5230 Folsom Boulevard in East Sacramento. The project proposal includes the construction of a new four/five story building offering spaces for residential and retail uses. Plans call for the demolition of an existing single-story office building on the site. Sutter Capital Group is the project developer. Vrilakas Groen Architects is responsible for the designs.
