Construction work is wrapping up for Forma, the 24-story residential tower at 2016 Telegraph Avenue in Downtown Oakland. The structure adds 223 new units to the city, which are unambiguously market rate, with studios starting at $2,690 per month and three-bedroom penthouses for $13,190 per month. Holland Partner Group is responsible for the development after taking over plans by Lane Partners.

The San Francisco Planning Commission is scheduled to vote tomorrow on redesigned plans for 24 units at 1900 Diamond Street in San Francisco. The new iteration breaks away from the former linear block to preserve ten trees, create a public viewing platform, and obscure the project with setbacks away from the sidewalk along Diamond Street. Solomon Cordwell Buenz, an international firm with offices in San Francisco, is the project architect.

Demolition Complete for 30 Van Ness Avenue Skyscraper, Civic Center, San Francisco

Demolition crews have cleared the former five-story structure that stood at 30 Van Ness Avenue. Next for the property is a mixed-use skyscraper that will expand the high-rise profile of Civic Center’s Market & Octavia Area Plan district, or ‘The Hub.’ Construction will create a 47-story tower with offices, 333 condominiums, and a performing arts space. Lendlease, a multinational Australian-based company behind many high-profile projects worldwide, is the project developer.

The project, to be addressed as 210 N Street, will create a high-density hub with housing, offices, and retail across from Crocker Park in an existing urban environment. Southern Land Company is responsible for the application.
