The filing uses the Builder’s Remedy and Senate Bill 330 to pursue adding density to the suburban plot. The application comes from the same developers who plan to convert their offices into housing at 97 Boston Avenue, as covered yesterday.

The developer, SALA Homes Realty & Development, aims to use the Builder’s Remedy to remodel their own offices into a 14-unit co-living complex. TDDG US, another occupant of the Boston Avenue location, is responsible for the application.
Affirmed Housing Group and the city of San Jose celebrated the official opening of Vitalia, a new affordable housing complex at 3100 South Bascom Avenue. The project will bring 79 units, over half of which will be permanent supportive housing, in the southern San Jose neighborhood of Cambrian.
