Plans Under Review For Senior Housing At 3335 Kifer Road, Santa Clara

Santa Clara Planning Commission is reviewing the architectural and conceptual plans for a housing project proposed at 3335 Kifer Road, Santa Clara. The project proposal includes the construction of a supportive senior affordable housing complex with 80 units within the Lawrence Station Are Plan (LSAP). The site is currently occupied by a 8,992 square-foot research and development building and surface parking that are proposed for demolition.
The project is developed and sponsored by Allied Housing Inc. GLO Architecture is managing the design concepts and construction.

City Reviewing Phase One of Gateway Crossing at 1205 Coleman Avenue, Santa Clara

The Santa Clara Development Review hearing to be held later today is expected to approve action on phase one of the Gateway Crossing project at 1205 Coleman Avenue, Santa Clara. The project aims to build a significant residential hub adjacent to Caltrain’s Santa Clara Station, the San Jose city border, and the San Jose International Airport. Holland Partner Group is responsible for the development.

Demolition Permits Filed for 600 South 1st Street, Downtown San Jose

Demolition permits have been filed for 618 South 1st Street, one of three properties merged in the 252-foot proposed tower at 600 South 1st Street in Downtown San Jose’s southeast corner. The development was first introduced in 2018 and approved by the city council in November of 2019. Amendment permits filed in June of 2020 seek to expand the number of apartments. KT Urban is the project developer, with  Scape as owner since March of 2020 for $16.5 million.

Construction Underway for 720 Montague Expressway, Milpitas

Permits reveal updates on the development at 720 Montague Expressway in Milpitas, earlier approved by Milpitas City Council. The project is a five-story mixed-use structure with residential units,  parking space, and retail space. 
Residential developer, SummerHill Housing Group, is managing the project. Hunt Hale Jones and KTGY Architects are responsible for design concept and construction.
