The proposal invokes the Builder’s Remedy to develop roughly five acres of hillside land with 16 single-family homes. Michael LaBarbera of Terracommercial Real Estate Corporation, the owner of the vineyard that occupies a portion of 6591 Woodcliff Court, is the project sponsor.
New permits have been filed for a suburban development at 19780 Almaden Road in San Jose, Santa Clara County. The proposal will bring 49 new single-family homes to the edge of the sprawling city. Terracommercial Real Estate Corporation is the project sponsor.
Development plans have been published for an eight-story residential project at 4590 Patrick Henry Drive in Santa Clara, Santa Clara County. The proposal aims to replace a low-slung office complex by Mission College and a Levi Stadium surface parking lot with hundreds of homes in the Patrick Henry Drive Specific Plan. Walnut Hill Group is the project developer, represented by KASA Partners.
The Palo Alto Planning and Transportation Commission is scheduled to review plans for a five-story affordable housing infill at 3265 El Camino Real. The project would create 44 new homes for public school educators on a narrow parcel near the California Avenue Caltrain station. Palo Alto-based Half Dome Capital is responsible for the development.

The updated filing has more than doubled the dwelling count for the proposal in the Five Wounds neighborhood in San Jose, close to the planned 28th Street/Little Portugal BART Station.
