The plans look to add 168 units of housing, including some affordable units, as a portion of a much larger residential masterplan named Four Corners. Permits have been filed for a mixed-use development at 2200 Fifth Street in West Berkeley, Alameda County. The application will reshape a surface parking lot with eight townhome-style units and two commercial office units facing Allston Way. Broadway Design Build is the project applicant.
The Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing has filed plans to create a temporary shelter center at 428 11th Street in SoMa, San Francisco. The application looks to bring 60 sleeping unit cabins with supportive programming for individuals and pets. Public records show the property is owned by a San Mateo-based family trust.
Permits have been filed for new housing at 3225 D Street in East Sacramento. The application looks to split a lot to add two new homes behind an existing single-family residence. California Home Company is listed as the project developer.
The Agrihood project located at 82 North Winchester Boulevard in Santa Clara has revised it’s original proposal for the community. The project is an extension of a project completed on the adjacent site in 2023, with plans to bring further housing to the community. The new proposal pivots from more apartment style units to a townhome focused design. These future homes will border the Agrihood open farm area and be integrated into the larger community.
