The City of Sacramento’s Planning Department has approved the design review and site plan application for 1121 I Street in Downtown Sacramento. The eight-story infill aims to replace an auto service shop and low-slung commercial structures with 204 apartments in the heart of the city, one block from City Hall.
New plans have been published for an eight-story residential complex at 1023 J Street in Downtown Sacramento. The full-block proposal will clear nearly an acre across from Cesar Chavez Plaza with 256 apartments. T.A. Group is responsible for the application as the property owner.
New renderings have been published for the proposed pedestrian bridge to cross Warm Water Cove in Dogpatch, San Francisco. The extension to the Bay Trail will connect a public park with the planned Potrero Power Station redevelopment, a project for which demolition has occurred, but construction has yet to start. Harrigan Weidenmuller Company is the project developer.
New renderings have been published alongside a notice for public input regarding the two-building infill at 1354 and 1356 York Street on the southern edge of San Francisco’s Mission District neighborhood. The plan will replace an industrial structure with six homes. Atlas Property Group is the project developer.
Construction has resumed for the five-story Hotel MOHI at 17470 Monterey Highway in Morgan Hill, Santa Clara County. Crews stopped work in 2020 due to the pandemic, at which point the two-story concrete structure was transformed into an outdoor restaurant, MOHI Social. The hotel is owned by Frank Leal, and Kent Construction is the general contractor.
