The San Francisco Parks Department and Planning Commission have unanimously approved the Three Transamerica redevelopment in San Francisco’s Financial District. Three Transamerica, or 545 Sansome Street, is the second phase of SHVO’s billion-dollar investment in the historic office complex with design by Foster + Partners. Its adaptive reuse will create a new gateway for the city’s most iconic skyscraper.
New project renderings have been released for a senior living residential facility proposed for development at 824 San Antonio Road in Palo Alto. The project proposal includes the construction of a four-story senior living facility. The project calls for the demolition of an existing two-story office building on the site. FORA Architecture is responsible for the designs. BASE Landscape Architecture is responsible for the designs.
New renderings have been published for the eight-story apartment infill at 2587 Telegraph Avenue in Southside, Berkeley. The illustrations provide lifelike views of the mid-rise apartments that may replace a low-slung commercial structure along the busy Telegraph Avenue thoroughfare with over two hundred bedrooms. Gilbane Development Company is the project developer.
The Sacramento Planning Commission is scheduled to consider approval this Thursday for the Sac Bee apartments project in Midtown, Sacramento. The proposal is expected to replace the newspaper’s former headquarters at 2100 Q Street with over five hundred rental apartments. Irvine-based Shopoff Realty Investments is the developer.
Plans to develop a new office for SamTrans have moved forward, authorizing the acquisition of a mixed-use office-retail building located at the Gateway at Millbrae Station. The project proposal includes the setup of a building that will serve as the new San Mateo County Transit District (SamTrans) headquarters.
