Plans are under review for a five-story affordable housing project to rise at 440 Arden Way, located in Old North Sacramento. BRIDGE Housing Corporation has proposed to replace the vacated Sacramento armory building with 124 new homes, including 31 permanent supportive housing. Expanded Plans Revealed for 3000 Shattuck Avenue, South Berkeley

Expanded permits have been filed for a nine-story residential infill at 3000 Shattuck Avenue in South Berkeley. The application marks a significant increase from plans filed by a different developer in 2017 for 23 co-living apartments. Now, NX Ventures has proposed building 156 new homes on the same corner lot, within walking distance from groceries, shops, AC Transit, and the Ashby BART Station.

A preliminary application has been filed seekinf approvals for modifications at 2015 Blake Street in Downtown Berkeley. The project proposal includes the addition of residential units to the existing units and increasing the building height to eight floors. Plans call for the demolition of the existing commercial buildings and one duplex on the site. Rhoades Planning Group is the project applicant. Richard Nagler Properties LLC is the property owner. Lowney Architecture is responsible for the design concepts.
