The pre-application has finally been filed for a 50-story mixed-use tower at 2700 Sloat Boulevard in San Francisco’s Outer Sunset District. The increased plan, first hinted at last month, is a remarkable change from prior versions. Nevada-based CH Planning LLC is the project sponsor. New renderings have been published for the renovations of 3 Transamerica for the Transamerica Complex redevelopment by SHVO in San Francisco’s Financial District. The project will double the structure’s height and floor capacity, partially reskin the building with a futuristic design by Foster + Partners, and expand the famous Redwood Park. The $400 million master plan includes renovations of the lobby and interiors of the city’s landmark Transamerica Pyramid.
New renderings have been revealed for the 17-story mixed-use tower expected to rise from the California Theater at 2115 Kittredge Street in Downtown Berkeley, Alameda County. The updated plan shows how the historic facade will be preserved with a new theater for live performances capped by 218 apartments. Gilbane Development is responsible for the project.
Amended plans will be reviewed for 98 Franklin Street during the San Francisco Planning Commission Hearing this Thursday. The alterations were first revealed in mid-November with an additional floor, higher rooftop, and increased residential capacity from 345 to 385 units in The Hub. Affordable housing needs have also been shifted offsite to Parcel K in Hayes Valley and 600 Van Ness Avenue. Related and the French American International School are jointly responsible for the project.
