The Menlo Park Planning Commission has approved four architectural plans for Meta’s Willow Village in San Mateo County. The city reviewed Safdie Architect’s glass-domed meeting and collaboration space, the town square, the office campus, and two apartment buildings. Facebook’s parent company is working with Signature Development Group in a joint venture called the Peninsula Innovation Partners.
Excavation work is underway for the 16-story mixed-use building at 555 Bryant Street in SoMa, San Francisco. While facade installation has started for the nearby offices, the same contractor is working on the foundation of what will become 501 new homes close to Caltrain Station and the Central Subway line. Strada Investment Group is responsible for the development.
On the heels of new renderings published for 2700 Sloat Boulevard, another developer has shared illustrations for their own skyscraper in San Francisco. Details plans have been published for the 47-story residential tower at 636 4th Street, across from the San Francisco Caltrain Station in SoMa. Solbach Property Group is the project sponsor.
Renderings have been revealed for the proposed 50-story skyscraper at 2700 Sloat Boulevard in the Outer Sunset of San Francisco. The 589-foot tall structure hopes to replace the Sloat Garden Center across from the San Francisco Zoo with 680 for-ownership homes and new retail designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz. Raelynn Hickey of CH Planning is responsible for the application.
New renderings have been published for the full-block mixed-use redevelopment of the SFMTA Potrero Yard bus maintenance facility at 2500 Mariposa Street in San Francisco’s Mission District. The updated design shows a more refined exterior, though the housing capacity is reduced from 575 to 513 units. Plenary Group is responsible for the application.
