New renderings have been published for the 12-story office proposal at 490 Brannan Street in SoMa, San Francisco. The project will replace a vacant commercial structure with offices directly across from the new light rail station and two blocks from Caltrain’s San Francisco Station. Trammell Crow Company is the developer after purchasing the site from Strada last year for $54 million.

The document summarizes findings that inform the decision, including details about the foundation reaching bedrock. Strada Investment Group is the project developer.
Construction is wrapping up with facade installation nearly complete for Google Caribbean, the waterfront five-story buildings along West Caribbean Drive in Sunnyvale, Santa Clara County. The zigzagging offices will bring a combined one million square feet of new office space for Google next year. The update comes as Google’s parent company, Alphabet, postponed construction of Downtown West in San Jose in April and put 1.4 million square feet of offices up for sublease last month. Bjarke Ingels Group is the project architect.
Construction has reached the six-story mid-building podium block for 1510 Webster Street in Downtown Oakland, Alameda County. The exposed structure shows off the mass timber framework around the concrete superstructure that makes the 19-story plan unique. Oakland-based oWOW is the project developer and architect.
Renderings have been published for affordable teacher housing and townhome duplexes at 402 Dellbrook Avenue, near the base of Sutro Tower in Twin Peaks, San Francisco. The project would create around 76 units, of which 40 will be affordable housing. Midtown Lands LLC, owned by James Keith, is the property owner and developer.
