Brookfield Releases New Renderings for Stonestown Redevelopment in San Francisco

Brookfield Properties has released new renderings for the $2 billion master plan to redevelop the surface parking of the Stonestown Galleria mall on the west side of San Francisco. The new illustrations compare current conditions at the mall with the proposal. Energy Hub Tower Proposal for Downtown San Jose Pushes Forward, Council Vote Expected Next Month

The amended Draft Environmental Impact Report has been published for the 21-story mixed-use proposal at 35 South Second Street in Downtown San Jose. The project, dubbed the Energy Hub Tower, is scheduled for review by the Planning Commission next week, and the city council is expected to consider final approval for the plans in mid-December. If approved, it will bring the development team, Westbank and Urban Community, closer to adding the Bjarke Ingels Group-designed tower to fruition.

Official Groundbreaking for 1510 Webster Street Tower in Downtown Oakland

oWow has officially broken ground on what will become the tallest timber building on the West Coast. The developer held a ceremony yesterday afternoon at 1510 Webster Street in Downtown Oakland, with members of the project team, the community, and city officials in attendance. The project will rise 19 floors with over two hundred homes. Speaking with YIMBY, oWow President Andrew Ball shared the company’s ambitious timeline for completion in 16 months.

New Renderings For Town Tower, Potential Tallest Residential Tower in Oakland

The CIM Group has submitted pre-application documents for a new 46-story residential tower at 325 22nd Street, named Town Tower, in Downtown Oakland. If built today, the project would be the tallest addition to the Alameda County skyline, rising 487 feet tall, well above the current 404-foot Ordway Building. The new plans are a shift away from 2017-era plans by CIM for an office tower at the same location.
