The fourth tallest skyscraper in the city planned or built is 181 Fremont Street, a residential tower overlooking the Transbay Transit Center in SoMa, San Francisco. Completed in 2017, it is the tallest mixed-use tower in the Bay Area standing 810 feet above street level. Heller Manus Architects is responsible for the design.
New permits have been filed with expanded plans for the mixed-use tower at 1510 Webster Street, Downtown Oakland. While the city had original approved plans for a 182-unit tower, the developer is now to build 222 new residences, of which 35 will be affordable. oWOW is responsible for the development and design.
A preliminary application has been filed seeking the approval of a housing project located at 3575 De La Cruz Boulevard in Santa Clara. The project proposal includes the development of condominium units for families at affordable rates.
