A new residential project has been proposed for development at 49 Hopkins Avenue in Twin Peaks, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the construction of a new two-unit residential structure. Plans call for the demolition of an existing single-family residence on the site.
The Final Environmental Impact Report has been published for Terraine, a mixed-use proposal for housing and parking at 201 West Julian Street in Downtown San Jose. The plans include a new design from Studio Gang for the 17-story residential tower and a ten-year plan to convert the future garage into offices. Westbank Corporation is responsible for the application.
Building permits have been filed for an affordable housing infill at 2016 Ashby Avenue in South Berkeley, Alameda County. The plan is set to be built on the site of the St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church, replacing half of the site with a six-story residential infill. Community Housing Development Corporation is responsible for the application.
A new school project has been proposed for development at 255 Georgia Street in Downtown, Vallejo. The project proposal includes the conversion of a vacant building into being used as a new charter high school. Kinyon + Kim Architects, Inc is responsible for the designs.
Construction is moving ahead for a new music venue named Channel 24 at 1800 24th Street in Midtown Sacramento’s Poverty Ridge neighborhood. The future venue operator, Another Planet Entertainment, recently highlighted the progress of the 2,150-person venue that bridges the gap between smaller venues and stadiums. SKK Development is responsible for the project.
